We are launching our fundraising drive this year with a HUGE Last Man Standing raffle. When we say huge, we mean a total prize value of $12,500!
We have huge plans for our 45th year including a big zabava scheduled for Saturday 24 June, 2023 at the Croatian Catholic Centre in Sunshine. Save the date and stay tuned for more details to come!
Whether you’re Team LaRusso or Team Johnny Lawrence, join us for this one day only school holiday special event! Our dancefloor will be transformed into a Japanese Dojo for a day with a two hour kids karate class led by a GKR Karate sensei. The class will consist of basic training as well as many karate-associated games.
Admission fee includes a hotdog and drink for all participants. Children of all ages welcome. Limited space available. Bookings are essential. Don’t miss out on this one off event!
All funds raised will go to Folklorna Grupa Mladi Hrvati.

If you’ve been thinking about joining Mladi Hrvati or enrolling your child to dance folklor, we welcome you to come down and see what it’s all about! Established 42 years ago, Mladi Hrvati is one of the most iconic Croatian folkloric dance groups in Victoria, if not, Australia. Chances are you know someone who’s danced for Mladi Hrvati, with three generations of families being taught over the years! Mladi Hrvati is based at the Croatian Catholic Centre Clifton Hill - 69 Hodgkinson St, Clifton Hill.
A great day planned for the whole family to enjoy - classic and vintage cars, hot rods and bikes followed by the CROCUP soccer tournament. Come and say hi to us at the Folklorna Grupa Mladi Hrvati stall where our popular candles and other merchandise will be available to purchase.
Our annual Christmas extravaganza is back for 2019! Our Juniors, Intermediates and tamburasi will be performing a selection of gorgeous Christmas carols whilst re-enacting the story of the Nativity. Lunch will be available in the church hall after mass, and our centre will be holding its Christmas markets on the church grounds. We hope to see you there!

After endless hours of hard work and tireless fundraising, our much anticipated 2019 tour of Croatia will be taking place during this Croatian summer! Our Junior, Intermediate and Adult groups will be performing at gorgeous locations and events, as well as seeing our most treasured landmarks and historic monuments across Croatia.
Dance lessons for Term Three will resume on Monday 19 August.
We are honoured to host this year’s Victorian Children’s Folkloric Zabava. Join us for a celebration of Croatian tradition amongst our youngest members, as all Victorian children’s folkloric groups come together to perform. Na mladima svijet ostaje!

Our upcoming Youth and Families mass falls within the liturgical season of Lent. A selection of gorgeous hymns will be performed by Mladi Hrvati children, and a light lunch and donuts will be available after mass.

All Croatian parishes across Melbourne will gather at Clifton Hill for Sveti Nikola Tavelic’s Feast Day. Mladi Hrvati children will be participating in mass. Lunch and entertainment to be provided after mass.
We will be holding another BBQ fundraiser at Woolworths - Mill Park! Detour and do your grocery shopping with us, and while you’re at it, grab a snag or two for a pre-lunch snack.

This year Mladi Hrvati will be celebrating its 40th anniversary. We warmly invite all of our current and past members to come and celebrate with us at this not-to-be missed event. We will be celebrating all things 'Slavonija', so bring your dancing shoes and get ready to party!

Join us along with our Clifton Hill community as we host our very first cultural fešta! We will be serving traditional Croatian 'grah' along with ćevapi rolls and apple štrudel. There will also be live music, cultural displays, a traditional Croatian nošnja parade and plenty of activities for the kids. We couldn't think of a better way to spend a crisp, sunny autumn day in Melbourne!
Our youngest members will be performing traditional Croatian songs and dances as part of the lunch time entertainment on this day. Our MH team will also be selling our fantastic 40th Anniversary merchandise. Come along for a great family day out!
Mladi Hrvati will be joining the Sv Nikola Tavelic parishioners in celebrating the Easter liturgy. After mass, the much anticipated Easter egg cracking competition will begin and children will be treated to an Easter egg hunt.
Folklorna Grupa Mladi Hrvati will be participating in the 2018 Multicultural Festival at Federation Square. We will be representing Croatia and will be serving serving scrumptious Slavonija style fritule from one of the food marquees! All members are invited to attend this year's Annual General Meeting. Please note, Junior dance practice will finish at 7:00pm on this night, our Intermediate group will commence at 7:30pm as normal.
